Handmade stainless steel sink, Something you may not know
Handmade stainless steel sink, Something you may don't know
---Cross cutting vs. scattered cutting
Our factory always adopts "cross" integral cutting, illustrated as following.
After the cutting is completed, the four parts of the steel plate are bent upward, and only four vertical joints need to be welded to complete the water tank body. This cutting method we adopt produces four pieces of scrap for each piece of steel, in order to minimize the number of welding spots.
The cross cutting method which we use are cut out of the same piece of steel plate. So the whole sink, basin surface, basin body and basin bottom is one, the thickness is the same. And with scattered cutting method to make the sink, not only can do cheating, such as some parts use thick material, while another parts use thin material, but also there are more welding seams . The more places to weld, the worse the sink is. That's obvious. illustrated as following
You may ask how to distinguish these two method? In fact, it's quite easy. The sink With scattered cutting method are always sprayed with anti-condensation coating, generally inexperienced consumers can not see the difference from the surface. But, you can see the weld marks by scraping away a little of the coating on the back of the welding site.
